This film is an intimate portrait of the research and conservation efforts on the remote beaches of Papua, Indonesia to save the critically endangered Pacific leatherback sea turtle. NOAA scientist, Dr. Manjula Tiwari, guides us through her work, the work of scientists, conservation groups, and the challenges local and international communities face as they step up conservation efforts on 24 Kilometers of remote beaches that the largest remaining aggregation of Pacific leatherbacks rely on for their survival.
