Quirky LA twins Tristan and Max get fired on the same day. Tristan curses out a TV writer, while Max leaks his boss' script to a gossip site. Their type A friend Jane, who hates her corporate film job despite her recent promotion, tells Tristan to apply for her old job. Max has a lead in NYC that he agrees to pursue, while Tristan applies for the Jane job. They betray their twin pact and land interviews for the NYC job. They fly there only to learn it was a Zoom interview. Max gets offered Jane’s old job, while Tristan remains jobless. Afraid of messing it up and leaving his twin behind, Max proposes a risky plan: they will share the job by trading off and pretending to be one person.
