Thida, the guardian spirit of an old cinema slated for demolition, is forced to confront her existence as a ghost and the possibility of rebirth. Her encounter with Hai, with whom she develops a deep bond, pushes her to confront not only her spiritual destiny, but also the economic and social changes radically transforming her country.
