Told through the fragmented memories of a newborn child, Birth of the Hive Queen follows Amina, a trans sex worker who undergoes an unexpected conception and birth. The film envisions what a uterus transplant might look like outside traditional medical frameworks, centering autonomy and trans ancestry.
