Borrowing words from Laura Mark's 'Transnational Object' and D.W. Winnicott's 'Transitional Object', all carefully etched into the surface of 16mm film, Nazli Dinçel's latest work, Between Relating and Use, is an attempt to work ethically in a foreign country. Shifting from assuming the position of ethnographer, we turn and explore inward, exploring how we use our lovers.
