An Impossible Address is the culmination of over four years of research, unearthing a hidden history of anti-colonial solidarity between India and Africa against the Portuguese empire. The film is narrated through the life of the revolutionary Sita Valles, an Angolan-born doctor of Goan origin who joined Angola’s liberation movement and was subsequently disappeared. Director Suneil Sanzgiri employs his signature visual language, blending digital animation, 3D scanning and archival material to create a powerful personal essay on cross-continental resistance.
