Director Nicolas Roeg’s horror masterpiece still retains the power to shock and has established itself as a seminal work in the genre. Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland shine as a married couple mourning the death of their young daughter, clinging on to her memory through a meeting with a mysterious psychic in Venice. Featuring the debut film score from native Venetian composer and pop star Pino Donaggio who subsequently forged a long career in the soundtrack department and a close working relationship with Brian De Palma.
