A Utility Trilogy is a visual and aural meditation on three modes of American utility: a NYC bus ride juxtaposed with a bus ride in Cusco, Peru; a hotel stay in Jersey City blurring together with a recent road trip to Delaware, backed by the unsettling sounds of AM radio; and afunereal vision of a gas and power depot in Astoria, New York. Together, the three segments paint a portrait of gradually decreasing human presence against the omnipresent technological skeleton of the country.
