In modern times, but also since the beginnings of human history, our struggle to “encounter the other” has always been present. Whether it is reflected in the religious and social ideal of the “second-half”, whether it is reflected in Don Quichotte fighting for his Dulcinee, or in D’Artagnan looking for his attackers and accomplices, the quest for the other and our social interactions constitute one of the pillars of our societies, with its ups and downs. But what if our social interactions were to resemble a classic video game?
The movie was shot with a widefield microscope, and a brightfield fluorescence microscope under a 20 X and 40 X objective lens. Music reflecting the personalities and interactions of each amoeba was composed by Ella Sombre.
