Experimenter's POV: 2-Photon Imaging of Dendrites After Psilocybin Administration

Description

Point of view of the scientist's perspective as she is performing in vivo two-photon imaging. Here is a glimpse into longitudinal imaging experiment in which I am imaging the structural changes of dendrites in a mouse several days before and after a dose of the psychedelic psilocybin. This mouse received a dose of psilocybin 24 hours prior. The mouse's brain is being imaged through a glass window and we're seeing dendrites in the frontal cortex. You can see my hand as I use a motor control to "scroll" through the field of view.
