Dr. Ethan Haymovitz is a postodoctoral researcher in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College, where he studies social service delivery. He has 5 years of experience in academia and 15 years of experience providing resource development, grantmaking, strategic planning, and program evaluation services to nonprofits, NGOs, and government agencies in the US and abroad. He spent one year at Cornell University in a PhD program in developmental psychology, where he was awarded the Ruth L. Kirshstein National Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health, and received his DSW at Millersville University, MS at Columbia University, and AB at Vassar College. 

He received a certificate in digital filmmaking from the New York Film Academy and has produced short films, feature length screenplays, and music videos for New York City drag queens.
