Angela Kwak is an 18-year-old Korean-American filmmaker raised in Saudi Arabia, and a current Film & Television major at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She strives to use her multicultural experiences to amplify underrepresented narratives with vulnerable, visual storytelling as her medium. Her work has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation, Scholastic Art & Writing National Awards, NFFTY, All American High School Film Festival, CineYouth, among others. She recently graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy as a film and new media major. Outside of film, Angela pursues her passions in jazz drumming, cooking, and adding to her growing collection of sky pictures.
