About

After graduating, I worked on the pre-production of an incredible new feature film set in Abu Dhabi. Still eager to stretch out my time in the UAE, I spent another four months DJ’ing, freelancing and exploring the Abu Dhabi and Dubai music scenes.

I was invited to play at launch parties for Vice Magazine and streetwear brands Vans and Les Benjamins, converted an Alserkal Avenue warehouse into an electronic music and arts space with Bedouin Records and DJ’ed the opening party of the Sharjah Art Biennial.

I moved back home to Sydney eager for some more media experience. I applied on a whim for a 3-month contract in the strategy department at mid-sized agency Houston Group and ended up working on large-scale brand strategy projects for Qantas, Macquarie Bank, and Toyota. In the meantime, I've also teamed up with a friend in Sydney who shares my love of musicology. We're currently writing and collecting interviews for a history podcast about Sydney's avant-garde and underground music landscape and its various personalities.

Until I begin the the Clemenger graduate program, I am working at an Italian restaurant. As part of their graduate program, I’ll be getting nine months of intensive, hands-on experience across all manner of media production, advertising, PR, experiential, budgeting, and project management with some really incredible and creative minds. I hope to become someone who can move seamlessly between underground arts communities, tech conferences, and corporate environments while advising on questions of arts policy, legal protection, and remuneration of creative labor.
