Abigail Addison is a Producer and is a Director of arts agency Animate Projects. She specialises in realising successful, award-winning, short film, artists’ film, and animation projects. Her strengths lie in brokering successful partnerships, securing the right talent, and ensuring that thorough planning and preparation takes place.

Over the past 15 years she has worked closely with more than 150 filmmakers, animators and artists on producing innovative moving image work for broadcast, gallery exhibition and digital platforms, including curating and producing 15 films for Channel 4’s Random Acts, producing 'Silent Signal' a large-scale touring art project supported by Wellcome Trust, and co-producing the BAFTA nominated short 'I'm OK' by Elizabeth Hobbs.

Alongside developing and producing extraordinary films Abigail also relishes programming and presenting screenings and discussions for international organisations, festivals and online spaces for audiences to enjoy. She has curated programmes and discussion events for organisations including the Austrian Culture Forum London, the University of Iowa’s Museum of Art, London International Animation Festival, Haifa Film Festival, BFI Future Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival. Abigail has been invited onto the juries of Flatpack Festival, Encounters Festival, Visegrad Animation Forum, Animest, and London International Animation Festival.
