The earth dwelling nematode worm C. elegans is model organism used by scientists to study the connections between neurons and behaviors. Their 302 neurons are readily seen through their transparent body. The little worm have very sharp sensations such as smelling odors that can’t be sensed by human, or temperature changes less than 0.1 degree.
