About

I went for an MS in chemistry for philosophical reasons, lured by the dynamics of coupled chemical reaction systems. Whitehead called this sort of thing "a lure for feeling," an aesthetic proposition that constellated and eventually precipitated 6 years of teaching and research at Georgetown University.  That process was intertwined with writing my philosophy PhD thesis, I'm currently working on machine learning studies of the history of alchemy at New York University, and working with the Active Matter group on recreating artisinal practices
